Sonya Zhong is the newest staff member of CCS, Mind/Body Department. She will be teaching yoga at Crescent City Strength beginning in 2017.
Sonya first began practicing yoga in order to help her with her scoliosis and back pain. She soon realized her yoga practice not only alleviated her physical discomfort, but allowed her to experience her body and mind with greater awareness.
Sonya is committed to sharing the healing and energizing power of yoga. She leads fluid practices that link mindful breathing with physical movement. She is a dedicated teacher focused on providing each student with the tools to build their own foundation for a safe and revitalizing practice. It is Sonya’s intention to spread the light of a yoga practice to all bodies.
Sonya is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the international Yoga Alliance.
